My projects explore how nature, community, nostalgia, and culture take form through real places and practices. I work across disciplines, treating each project as a living system rather than a finished object.

BYN Factory

BYN Factory (Beyond Your Norm Factory) at The Junction at Carmelray is a mixed-use commercial building designed as a creative and cultural hub for the growing South. Inspired by Lisbon’s LX Factory, it brings together local, multi-purpose businesses to function as a true third place—supporting organic interaction, retail, and community events. BYN Factory is conceived as an ecosystem, where complementary concepts such as Cocina Común, Racines Laundry & Café, and Upside Philippines support one another while serving families, creatives, and new residents moving south.

La Kusina Casa Filipino Food is a restaurant that honors both the past and future of Casa Filipino cuisine, rooted in the heritage of Barangay Canlubang. Drawing from stories of camaraderie and goodwill shared through communal feasts, La Kusina brings history to life through care for local produce, innovative technique, and precise execution. From the meticulous wrapping of Lumpia Ubud to the charcoal grilling of Chicken Inasal, each dish reflects the warmth of tables where people once gathered to share meals that nourished both body and spirit. The name Casa is inspired by the Yulo ancestral home, Casa de Nipa in Canlubang, grounding the restaurant in memory, place, and continuity.

Kanlungan Food Park

Kanlungan Food Park is a community food bazaar inspired by Hawker Centers in Singapore. The word Kanlungan, meaning “to cradle” or “to shelter.” Located in Canlubang and set in front of the Kanlungan Mural, it comes alive from Wednesday to Sunday as a welcoming gathering place for the neighborhood. The food park serves as a relaxed community hub where young musicians perform, friends meet after work, and families and creatives find a comfortable place to unwind. Designed as a chill, accessible hangout in the South, Kanlungan Food Park offers good food, local talent, and a shared sense of belonging.
